DISPOSAL 

Parts of this unit contain materials that are recyclable. Certain waste companies specialise in recycling these parts. Dispose of the components in compliance with all applicable regions regulations. Contact your local waste management authority for more detailed information about recycling this product. 

DISPOSAL (APPLICABLE FOR EU COUNTRIES)

This symbol on the product, or in the operating instructions, or on the packaging indicates that the product must not be included as general household waste. According to the European WEEE directive,

electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of with consumers household waste. Its components must be recycled or disposed separately of general consumer household waste. Otherwise, contaminative and hazardous substances can pollute the environment and adversley affect human health. For more information, please contact your local waste management authority.

As a consumer, you are obligated by law to dispose of electrical and electronic devices to the producer, the dealer, or public collecting points at the end of the devices lifetime. FCC COMPLIANCE

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. 

AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND - THREE YEAR WARRANTY

PowerGuard consumer. The warranty does not extend to any consequential damages or costs that may be incurred and is valid for three years (3) from date of purchase. As a first step the consumer must return the faulty product to the retail store (or contact the online store) it was purchased from together with proof of purchase. The benefits to the consumer under this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies of the consumer under Australian and New Zealand laws in relation to the goods to which the warranty relates. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Guarantee and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act. You are entitled to a replacement or refund if the goods fail to be of an acceptable quality or for a major failure. EUROPE WARRANTY

This warranty is provided by contracted PowerGuard distribution - er’s warranty in addition to the legal guarantee of this PowerGuard product. This warranty applies to products sold in EU. The warranty does not extend to any consequential damages or costs that may be incurred. Defects and damages resulting from misuse, wear parts and consumables are excluded from the warranty. Damage which is not caused to the product itself, is also not covered under the warranty. Claims due to the neglect of duties, misuse on manipulations and claims for reimbursement of expenses are excluded under the warranty; This also applies to claims for compensation of consequential damages. The restrictions, mentioned above, do not apply to statutory rights of the consumer of a purchase of consumer goods or claims of damages resulting from injury to life, body or health, intentionally or by gross negligence, or under the Product Liability Act (ProdHaftG Germany). The warranty is void for improper use of the product. The warranty does not extend the guarantee period or initiate a this warranty but are available fully unchanged to the buyer addition. 

USA WARRANTY

PowerGuard warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years. PowerGuard will repair or replace its product if, due to defective parts or workmanship, it does not perform as specified. This warranty covers only repair or replacement of the product itself. This warranty is extended to the original consumer purchaser only. In no event does this warranty extend to instances where the product is damaged through uses for which it was not intended, misuse, mishandling, removal and/ or re-installation, neglect, accident or tampering. In no event shall PowerGuard be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or lost profits arising out of or related to this product, or the performance or breach thereof, even if PowerGuard has been advised of the possibility thereof. PowerGuard’s liability to customer, if any, shall in no event exceed the total of the purchase price.

Some states do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, therefore, sections of the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty is in lieu of any other warranty, expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage to any non-PowerGuard product used in connection with this product. Any representations or promises inconsistent, or in addition to this warranty are unauthorised and shall not be binding upon PowerGuard. 

USA - Conditions of Warranty

• The consumer must retain proof of purchase for the warranty period.
• The warranty period is valid from the original date of purchase of the product.
• This warranty extends only to the defects in material or workmanship occurring under normal use of the product.

The consumer must return the goods, original packaging (if reasonably feasible) and proof of purchase to make a claim against this warranty. PowerGuard may elect to have the purchaser dispose of the product to save the cost of shipping, provided the purchaser has contacted PowerGuard directly prior and provided all necessary information. If the replacement product is supplied, it is warranted for the remainder of the warranty period, from the original date of purchase. 

USA - This Warranty Does Not Cover

• Goods that are damaged as a result of misuse by the consumer.
• Goods that are damaged as a result of other third-party products.

• Any misrepresentations given that are not covered in this warranty. 

USA - Procedure for Claims

• The consumer must return the goods as per the requirements as stated in ‘USA - Conditions of Warranty’.
• If you are unsatisfied or have simply changed your mind about a direct purchase made on our website, we may be able to organise a replacement or refund.
• Returns for refunds are available for purchases made directly from PowerGuard for a period of 30 days after the original purchase date.

USA - Limitation of Liability

• This warranty is your sole remedy and PowerGuard shall not be liable for any damages, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or otherwise, including lost revenues and lost profits, arising out of any theory of recovery, including statutory, contract or tort. In no event will PowerGuard’s’s entire liability exceed the purchase price of this product. Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state and province to province.
